Abstract
The essential oil isolated by hydrodistillation from Heteromorpha trifoliata (Wendl.) Eckl. & Zey. was analysed by GC and GC‐MS. Sixty compounds constituting about 96% of the oil were identified. The major constituents were α‐pinene (22.2%), germacrene‐D (17.9%) and sabinene (12.3%). Copyright © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd
