Abstract
Helicoverpa armigera ranked the plants offered into the following categories: most preferred - tobacco, maize, sunflower; least preferred - cabbage, pigweed and linseed; intermediate - soybean, cotton and lucerne. The possibility of exploiting the non-attractiveness of cotton in pest management is discussed. -from Authors
