Abstract
Classification of varieties for resistance based on yield loss experiments usually focuses on percentage yield loss comparisons with minor references to the actual potential yield. In this paper a method of classification based on joint consideration of the percentage yield loss and actual yield potential of the varieties is presented. The method seeks to minimize percentage yield loss while maximizing yield potential. © 1993 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
